By purchasing with Track Fiends, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Products sold by Track Fiends are designed for motorsport use, meaning that they are NOT intended for road use. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that their vehicle and any modifications comply with the rules and regulations of their relevant geographical jurisdiction. Track Fiends will not be liable for fines, damages and penalties incurred as a result of violation of road use rules.
Warranty, Defective Items and Damaged Goods
Motorsport is a violent activity that causes significant stress on all components of the vehicle, including the driver. As a result of this, we are unable to provide warranty on products that have been used in any environment.
Should you have received a damaged or defective item, DO NOT attempt to install or use the product. Doing so will void any ability for Track Fiends to provide a resolution, as the item will be in used condition, and therefore inappropriate for a return.
Track Fiends will determine the returns and resolutions process on a case-by-case basis, and will ONLY provide the option for a return, replacement or refund if the item is in new condition.
Track Fiends recommends professional installation of all items purchased by the buyer. Vehicle components incorporate a large element of safety, therefore it is to the benefit of the customer that any products are installed by a licensed workshop or mechanic to minimise the risk of failure or inappropriate installation.
Shipping & Dispatch
As part of our business model, we only sell items that we have in stock, so customers should expect a dispatch timeframe of 48 business hours from purchase.
On occasion, due to high demand, holidays or warehousing/logistical processes this timeframe may be delayed.
Track Fiends uses TNT and Hunter Express as its courier services. When the order has been shipped, a shipping notification email will be sent to the customer with its relevant tracking number.
All orders are carefully packed and sealed to minimise the chance of damage during shipping. However, there will be situations where damage occurs, out of the control of the warehousing team.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the condition of the packaging and product upon its arrival.
Should there be damage to the product, all issues and imperfections must be noted down, in addition to the receipt, the Driver and all details pertaining to delivery.
All packaging materials must be retained, for inspection by appropriate authorities. A signed receipt without any notation or review indemnifies the carrier and Track Fiends from damage claims.
All damages must be notified to the carrier and Track Fiends within 24 hours of receipt. Should the procedures of notation and receipt be appropriately executed, the carrier will determine how to best proceed.
Track Fiends is not responsible for items lost or damaged.
If for whatever reason you do change your mind and would like to return your order after delivery, we’re happy to refund or exchange your purchase as long as it is unopened and in its original packaging. This option is available for 14 days after delivery. 20% Restock/Cancellation fee applies plus the shipping fee of the product and the booking returned to us.
We will accept stocked items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund as long as you return your goods within 7 working days from the day of delivery. The goods must in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging. The product must not have been used or installed. Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them and not use them.
We cannot refund/cancel your purchase if:
- You return your product without proof of purchase.
- The products have been sat in, used, any bolting points have been fixed to a surface or the products are damaged.
- The goods were a special order and/or made to your specification.
- The Products were not originally purchased from us.
- The Products was deemed defective without proof of professional installation
- The Products were damaged in freight and insurance was not purchased
- A holding deposit was left for a specific product or order
Please note all our items are wrapped up in bubble wrap and shipped out with a hard reinforced cardboard box however sometimes freight damage does occur due to freight Companies. We will not be responsible for any freight damage that occurs during transportation we highly recommend the buyer purchases freight insurance. Please contact us if you wish to purchase freight insurance with your order.
As per the ACCC Refunds & Returns Policy
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
• is unsafe
• is significantly different from the sample or description
• doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.
